Chattering with Blair Bathory

Chat with Blair Bathory about her show Fear Haus, where she presents short horror films and 3 films which inspired her, 'Suspiria', 'The Shining' and 'Twilight Zone: The Movie'.

Among the topics we discussed were; how Suspiria inspired the look of her first film as writer/director, 'First Date: A Modern Love Story'; the Aubrey Beardsley prints used in the decor of Suspiria; why Stanley Kubrick is her favourite director; Twilight Zone: The Movie is the perfect anthology movie and why she finds the sequence, 'Nightmare at 20,000 Feet', so disturbing.

We also discussed her lead role in the short film, 'Cracks' written and directed by Molly Coffee.

Season 2 of Fear Haus is screening on Facebook at and already includes two of my favourite short films, 'Ink' by Andy Stewart and the deeply disturbing 'The Herd' by Malanie Light. Watch these and other episodes at Fear Haus.

The discuss the films with other viewers and the directors at Fear Haus Watch Club
