Ashley Thorpe, director of the live action animated film Borley Rectory, and I discussed: teaching animation to 713 year olds; his first films shot on 16mm film and edited on a Steenbeck; his first animation at university and the dangers of melted wax and carpets; two of the films which inspired him to create Borley Rectory, The Innocents and Wisconsin Death Trip; the long process for making what was intended to be a short film starting in 2011 and more.
