Two of the co-founders of FrightFest, Paul McEvoy and Ian Rattray, discuss: the creation of London’s horror and fantasy film festival, their best and worst moments, favourite horror icons, the films which scared them most, returning from Cannes with suitcases of VHS to FilmFreeway, their support of new indie films in the ‘New Blood’ strand, the FrightFest Presents icon and Paul’s meeting with Jen and Sylvia Soska in a small screening room at Cannes - which led to the screening of ‘American Mary’.
